New bug...earlier this month what's app rolled out an update for it's iPhone chat app which included support for biometric authentication using faceid and touchid the biometrics authentication implementation in the app has a bug that allows anyone to get access to what's app without going through touchid/faceid according to reports the bug first spotted by reddit user de X ter said it only works when the user has selected the biometric authentication kick in time to anything except immediately according to the redditor the bug activates when anyone tries to use what's app share extension in any app there is no word if what's app is aware of the issue or when we can expect a fix.
